Exciting news!

My faithful blog cronies,

It is with great excitement that I let you know about two new things!

First, after two years of writing, I realized it was time to redefine and redesign my blog site. Over time, it has become more and more clear that the way God has gifted me to serve others is to be transparent about my own life – sharing my ups, downs, “issues” and hard lessons learned along my life journey. (Yippee.) So, with a more defined purpose in mind, this blog will serve mainly to do just that: spill my guts out to the world and pray we all glean a little something from it.

But besides forming a clearer objective for this blog, let’s be honest; it was definitely in need of a facelift. And that it got. So when you get a moment, check it out! You can read more about me and why I write, and also take a peek at its brand new look by visiting: www.sherribennettblog.com.

Secondly, and MUCH more exciting, I am proud to announce that my first-ever published work in a book will be coming out next month (September 2014)! Yes – both pieces I submitted were chosen to be included in a devotional book for moms, It’s a Good Thing Children are a Treasure; They’ve Broken All My Other Ones. Can you say, one happy lady? And thankful beyond measure. Truly, the God of the universe knows it’s a miracle of miracles that this woman’s life would be so radically changed, she would be inspiring others through her writing and speaking. I am seriously humbled.

If you are interested in purchasing a copy for yourself or another mom you know, you can preorder through Amazon or by clicking here: It’s a Good Thing Children are a Treasure.

I want to thank you for following this blog for however long you’ve been hanging with me. Your comments, e-mails and Facebook messages are fuel that helps me continue on when I start to listen to the voices in my head that insist I should just hang it all up and get a job at Starbucks. I appreciate you!

Hoping you are well and really living,

Thanks for including me, beautiful girl. Never let your beauty, your wisdom, your intelligence, be more important than Jesus in your life. He won’t share His glory with anyone. I KNOW YOU KNOW THIS. Just a reminder in a happy day.

I love you dearly and sometimes fear because you are so talented.

Sherri, the upgrade to your blog site is wonderful! I plan on buying the devotional book for one of my co-servants at The Crossing who is a single mother. It’s exciting to know that two of your writings are included! I’m thankful for you and the sweet difference you made in GOD’s Kingdom. < Colt

Congratulations on the new post. I’m praying for you. I know you are having a hard time, today. I’ve been praying for you all day. Take five minutes to relax. Wish I could hold you till you let yourself sleep – just a complete relaxation for a moment. I wrote another letter that the computer says couldn’t go through or something like that.

    Love U,
